CONGRATULATIONS!!

A very sweet friend of mine has had her 1500th sell on Etsy!!! Now if you don't know, that is a ton of tiny little beads. Visit her blog and comment for a chance to win this lovely lariat. When I first started out selling on Etsy I took a chance and asked a couple of questions about thread and tension on the forums and everyone said ask Carol Dean. Whew!! I was intimidated...Sandfibers was a name that everyone had heard of of on Etsy! Do I dare?
Be brave...
I met one of the sweetest, most talented beaders ever. My bead work has never been the same.
Hugs to my friend, Carol Dean and many more sells.

Front Page and I missed it!

Thanks to my wonderful friend Carol Dean Sharpe, I made it on
the front page of ETSY.
Of course if you read my post from yesterday, I was working in the yard and thus missed the event!
But The wonderful friend sent me a screen shot ......
so here it is.
Thanks Carol Dean!

PAY IT FORWARD

. . .with a not completely random act of kindness. It seems that's what some bloggers have started doing. I found this on Carol Dean Sharpes blog, or some may know her as Sandfibers. Carol Dean signed up and won a PIF and posted to give away one from her blog. I was one of the really LUCKY recipients . So this is the concept (verbatim from Carol Deans blog, from Linda's blog who took it from Carla):

Pay it forward rules: I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a Comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange, and who make the same pledge on their own blogs . I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward.I love this idea! It supports the random act of kindness philosophy and gives a boost to handmade, all in one. It'll be fun to see who comments . Life is good and sweet and a whole lot cuter with beads so leave your comments.
