A Mind Of Its Own

I'm not sure about other beaders, but my beads have a mind of their own. I started out with these pink and green beads which were to be a peyote stitch choker with a cherry quartz in the center. The beads turned themselves every which -a -way and said they wanted to be a freeform piece. Something that could be worn on a breezey summer night, with a flowing dress and flip flops. Man those beads are pushy!! This is what they were meant to be.

Fast as Lightening

That's how my kids are growing! We were discussing how long we had in school this year and I commented 30 days! My husband about ran off the road. "Do realize that in 30 days both of our kids will be in high school and one of them will be a Jr.?" He gasped for air and looked like he might be sick. Time does go so fast. Here is a recent photo that Celia took of the kids, before they left our room for their bus.Do something fun today. Check out and vote on your favorite beadwoven creation.

It Is White As I Look Out My Window

You might think that I was talking about snow....No Way!
It is the trees in full bloom that are level with the second story windows of my house!Because of the white and pink blooms on the trees the upstairs is sunglasses bright.

We are out of school this week for spring break. The weather is sort of overcast and dreary, so I'm cleaning out closets.
